June inflation in Poland: 4,1%

(flash estimate by the Polish Statistics Office GUS). As expected.


But see this: inflation estimates for July are between 2,7-3,0%!

And consensus for H2 is inflation to stay slightly below 3%.


Slowing inflation figures are rather good news for the business:

- Plowing the way for further rate cuts; reference rate is currently at 5,25%, predictions are at around 4,5% at the end of this year. Should boost investments and real estate. 

- Eases out the salary pressures, supported by rather moderate proposed increase in the minimum wage for 2026. Perhaps budgeting 2026 is more fun than during previous years.. 


Currently, real wages are growing fast; salary growth over 8% and inflation dropping to ~3%.
