The Ministry of Labor proposes PLN 390 increase to the Polish minimum wage in 2026, according to various news sources. The new minimum wage proposal is PLN 5020 (€ 1176). This has caused a strong critisism especially from six employers' organizations, naturally.

EDIT 10.6. Now Ministry of Finance is proposing smaller increase, PLN 140 to PLN 4806.

📈 The average salary in Poland was PLN 9045 (€ 2118) in April.

📈 The average salary growth accelerated again April, reaching 9,3% increase y/y. In March the annual increase was 7,7%.

💰 The real wages and purchasing power are now growing fast, as the inflation in April was 4,3%.

💡 It is worth to acknowledge that meanwhile something is happening (jobs vanishing or people exiting from the labor force..?) at the labor market - the employment has dropped by 1% y/y.
